I think we can all agree that the last month of weather has been all across the board, one day we are 28 degrees with rain and the next we are 75 and sunny! We just have to go with the flow and when we get really great weather, we have to take advantage of it. The Griffith family was so sweet, I just love how amazing all of these amazing ladies were on their session. The fall colors were spectacular and I couldn't have asked for better temperature outside. This is why fall is the best season for family photos!
The bonds between sisters are like no other, having 2 sisters growing up I very familiar with the topic. They were all smiles and laughs at their session, what a wonderful group. We headed out to the woods for this session and couldn't have found a better spot with wonderful reds and yellows in perfect sequence as the backdrop.
Individual child portraits are my favorite part of family sessions. They allow me to see all of the different personalities of the kids and let them shine. I always try different poses for each child to make sure you have a lot of different looks for your photos. Each one of these portraits are beautiful in their own way and I love them so much.
A lot of people ask me when a good time of day is to do a photo shoot. I let them know that the morning and the evening are the best times to shoot. Depending on the location, would depend on whether I would suggest a morning or evening. It really all depends on where the sun is rising or setting in that particular area. If it was a cloudy day, which we cannot ever predict, I would say we could shoot all day long :)
